Your overall Athletic Score will range from 0-100 based on the average of your six individual test scores. We then put the scores through our algorithm to equalise for age and gender. Differences in height and weight between athletes are not taken into consideration. Your UA Next Athletic Score represents your overall athletic ability and is not related to a particular sport or discipline.

At Under Armour, we believe sport is for everyone. Drive, grit and passion are what make athletes great, not their gender. As a brand, we support an inclusive approach to sport and fitness: but where competition is concerned, we operate within existing structures and policies from the governing bodies, to give our athletes the best possible chance of a pro career in sport so we do not offer a non-binary category for competing.

In the case of transgender athletes, we are led by the World Athletics Council and its eligibility guidelines concerning gender and transgender: their policies can be seen here (for trans athletes) and here (for female classification). We are encouraged to see world athletics and sports governing bodies evolving their understanding of the needs of individual athletes, and fully support future developments in inclusivity, equity and diversity.
